We just pushed out a new update of Super Hexagon to Google Play. This version should improve the overall user experience of the app and fix some minor issues.
With this new release, we also took the opportunity to replace the scoring and achievement system. Instead of Scoreloop, the game now uses Google Play Game Services which should integrate better with the Android platform and provide a nicer way of sharing scores to social media platforms. (You can also install Google Play Games for more options)

Rewrote the UI from scratch for a more user friendly design

Bug fixes
Note: If you would like to restore the MMS entries created by an earlier version of SMS Backup (v1.0.8 and older) please read this post on how to patch and import them [CrackBerry Forums].
Since we’re getting a lot of questions on how to view or print backup files, we have made a short tutorial video on this.
Before opening the backup file (*.xml), make sure that a stylesheet file (sms.xsl) is present in the same folder. If you are copying the file to the computer, both files need to be transferred.
To edit the backup file you should use an advanced editor such as Notepad++ that knows how to deal with XML files. If you just want to view the content or print conversations, you can do so by opening the backup file with Internet Explorer or Firefox.
This new version is build using Native SDK 10.0.9.2743
It now supports all devices BB10 devices (Z10 / Q10 / Q5).
(The app now supports Verizon devices that are still using 10.0.9)
Added:
Added support for (future) Q5 owners
The only new (experimental) feature is that it now also exports all attachments from any MMS entries in the database. There is no option to import them back yet though (so if you use MMS, keep a backup for a future release that does supports importing them back).
We’ve released a new version of SMS Backup that should take care of some minor issues in the UI and UX.
Changelog for v1.0.4
Added:
Feedback on missing permissions
Keep the screen awake (during import and export to prevent the app from pausing)
Clean up phone numbers on import by removes dashes and spaces (e.g. “xxx yyy zzzz” and “xxx-yyy-zzzz” willl become xxxyyyzzzz). This should result in less broken conversations.
Fixed:
Missing sender’s name in the received message (in conversation view)
Use the correct latest timestamp in message list
Use the address field (phone number) on unknown entries instead of listing (Unkown).
Typos in UI
After upgrading SMS Backup please complete the following steps to fix the missing sender’s name and conversation timestamps:

We’re back with number five of our Android (also for Windows, Mac, and Linux) game bundles: Humble Bundle with Android 5! And we’ve got a load of fantastic games and soundtracks to keep you entertained!
Name your price for six awesome games available on Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux: Beat Hazard Ultra, Dynamite Jack, Solar 2, and NightSky HD. And if you pay more than the average, you’ll also get Super Hexagon and Dungeon Defenders!
Like previous bundles, if you pay more than $1, you’ll also get keys to optionally redeem on Steam.
There’s more though! You can also choose how you want to distribute your money – to the developers or to the two non-profit charities, Child’s Play Charity and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. And if you love this bundle, a tip to Humble Bundle would be greatly appreciated!
We’ve updated Super Hexagon for Android today. Due to the improved timing code, the game should run smoother and feel more responsive on many devices, especially the ones running Ice Cream Sandwich.
Changes:
New improved timing code, which reduces input lag on several devices (including the Nexus 7).
“Surprise! Super Hexagon is now available for the new Blackberry 10! This wasn’t originally something I had lined up – the opportunity to do it just sorta came along.
Basically, Laurence Muller, who ported the C++ openFrameworks version of the game to Android, has an interest in Blackberry – he maintains the unofficial Blackberry port of openFrameworks. So when Blackberry came along and asked us to do the port, we figured, let’s give it a shot!
If you’ve got one of these fancy new Blackberry 10 devices, you can get it from here, or the store on your device. (A playbook version is also a possibility at a later date.) Enjoy!“
Epic Windmill is proud to present Super Hexagon for Android, the award winning minimal action game by Terry Cavanagh, with music by Chipzel.
Press release
“Super Hexagon is now available for Android! To celebrate, it’s having an 99c android launch sale!
Hats off to Laurence Muller, who coded the port, and made this possible. We’ve done lots and lots of testing and fixing to make this work well on as many android devices as possible, but of course, on as wide a platform as android, bugs are inevitable. If you encounter any problems, our android support page is here.”
